Vistamation’s Online Policy
We greatly
value our customers! We’ll do everything we can to insure your 100%
satisfaction. If
you are ever dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us immediately
at 888-884-7744.
Shipping Information
We have
negotiated excellent rates with a variety of carriers. After we receive
your order, we will check with at least three carriers to get the best
rate for the product you’re purchasing and your location. We will not
charge your credit card until you approve the shipping charges that go
along with your order. Of course, you may specify your own carrier, based
on the shipping weights listed beside each product. For most
products, our freight class is 65.
Please note: All
freight quoted, unless shipping with UPS, is based on commercial delivery
to business locations with dock high doors and access to lift trucks. It
is your responsibility to be open during normal business hours and
unload the goods from the end of the truck using your lift truck or pallet
jack. This is standard, dock-to-dock freight.
If this does not apply to you, please let us know so that we can find
freight companies to accommodate your situation. Special charges
will apply for this accommodation, which vary by carrier.
Shipping Time
Customers
should expect a standard delivery time of 4 to 10 business days (1 to 2
weeks) for all orders to reach their final destinations. That includes 72
hours for preparing the order for shipment, and 1 to 9 days transit time.
Because of the wide range of products offered and number of manufacturers
available, Vistamation, Inc. cannot guarantee the delivery of any particular
order by an exact date. Vistamation, Inc. will always strive to ship and deliver
products in a reasonable time frame.
The return
of any and all merchandise must be routed through Vistamation, Inc.'s Customer
Service Returns Department. To return merchandise for any reason, or for
merchandise return questions, you should contact our
Customer Service Returns Department.
Policy Regarding Needed Permits and
Suitability
Because permit requirements vary so much
from city to city and region to region, Vistamation, Inc. can make no
guarantee about the suitability or requirement or availability of permits
for products purchased online. It is the buyer's responsibility to
ascertain when and if they are required, and to obtain them as necessary.
If the buyer is unsure, we recommend that they check with their local
building department for clarification of requirements.
Condition of Products and Installation
Unless
otherwise noted, all product comes in a "knocked down" condition, with
assembly required on the part of the buyer. Buyers may request
quotations for installation and assembly.
Policy for Defective Merchandise and
Shortages
If a
product appears to have a manufacturer's defect, or if there is a
shortage, please contact us within 5 days at 888-884-7744 for immediate
service. We will be happy to replace the product, but please do not return
products to Vistamation, Inc. without first contacting us to receive
instructions. Because of high freight rates, we may simply choose to
replace the merchandise, at our discretion. Returns of defective items
require a Return Authorization Number. Packages without a Return
Authorization Number written clearly on the package will be refused, and
Vistamation, Inc. will not be held responsible for the ultimate disposition of
such shipments.
Return Policy for Non-Defective
Merchandise
The
authorized return of non-defective merchandise could incur up to a 20% (of
the order total) restocking fee, based on the discretion of Vistamation, Inc..
No return shipments will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number
written clearly on the package. No returns will be authorized after 14
days from the receipt of shipment by the Customer. Used merchandise may
incur up to a 100% restocking fee, depending upon condition of the
returned item.
Once a
return has been authorized by Vistamation, Inc.'s Returns Department, the
Customer must:
Return the
item to the address given to the Customer by the Returns Department.
Write the
Return Authorization Number clearly on the outside of the box or package.
Keep your
shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned
merchandise.
Returns
valued above $100.00 should be insured. Vistamation, Inc. can not be held liable
for returned merchandise that does not reach its Returns Department.
Vistamation, Inc. will notify the Customer of their refund via phone, e-mail, or
postal mail, once it has received and processed the returned item. The
Customer can expect to be issued a refund within 1 to 10 business days of
Vistamation, Inc.'s receipt of their return. Vistamation, Inc. can refund shipping
costs only if the return is a result of a Vistamation, Inc. error. Customers are
responsible for all freight charges on refused shipments or returns,
except when due to an error by Vistamation, Inc.. Vistamation, Inc. is not responsible
for incidental or consequential damages or losses due to product defects,
errors in shipping of orders, or other errors. The limit of Vistamation, Inc.'s
liability is the replacement cost of any item the Customer purchased from
Vistamation, Inc..
Return Policy for Merchandise Damaged in
Shipment
Items
damaged in shipment are the responsibility of the freight carrier, and
claims should be filed accordingly. Any missing or damaged cartons must be
noted by the recipient, on the freight bill. If the customer notices
concealed damage after the driver has left, they are instructed to keep
all the packing and call the freight carrier to arrange to file a claim.
Vistamation, Inc. is not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier,
but will help resolve any problems to the customer’s satisfaction.
Back Orders
Customers
will be notified if a product ordered is temporarily out of stock.
Customers may be issued a full, or wait for the stock to become available,
at their request.
Order Changes/Amendments
Generally,
the customer should assume that once an order is placed, it cannot be
changed in any way. However, if the customer contacts Vistamation, Inc.’s
customer service department as soon as possible (within 24 hours) with a
change request, it may be possible to amend the order. Because shipping
charges vary based on several geographical factors, even address
corrections can result in extra fees. The customer is responsible for
supplying accurate shipping information, and is accountable for any and
all losses due to such errors. If it becomes necessary to cancel an order,
it may be subject to a restocking fee of up to twenty percent (25%).
Cancelled Orders
Once an
order has been placed with Vistamation, Inc. via phone, mail, or Internet, it
can only be cancelled if it hasn't yet been shipped to its final
destination. All order cancellations - already shipped or awaiting
shipment - are subject to a restocking fee of up to twenty five percent (25%)
of the order total for all standard stocking items, plus any shipping and/or handling charges that may
apply, based on the discretion of Vistamation, Inc..
Product that is built to order is non-cancelable,
and up to 100% may be charged.
Payment Terms and Past Due Invoices
Unless otherwise noted, all orders are
prepaid by check or credit card. We accept check by fax. If a
check has been faxed to us, we reserve the right to negotiate the check
through our check by fax program. By faxing a check to Vistamation
Inc., you have given your express permission for us to process the check.
All past due invoices are subject to the highest interest rate allowed by
law. All bounced checks incur a $35 fee, and must be replaced
immediately by a cashier's check. All past due invoice collection costs and expenses will be
borne by the customer. All legal costs arising from disputes will be
paid by the prevailing party.
Business Venue
All orders, unless specifically noted
otherwise, take place in the State of California, in the County of San
Diego, regardless of FOB points or shipping points. Any disputes
arising out of any purchases from Vistamation will be governed by
California law, and adjudicated in the County of San Diego.
Notwithstanding, we specifically reserve all rights to change venue to the
location of the purchaser and/or their agents at our sole discretion.
